Most people think that once a file has been deleted it is forever lost to the netherworld of doomed data. In truth most PC users have no idea how files are deleted and to where deleted files are deleted. Actually a deleted file is not removed from the storage device at all. It is simply relabeled as an empty space while it awaits new data to be overwritten. In many cases even this has not been done. In Windows systems deleted files are placed in a temporary storage area called the recycle bin. They can be restored at any time unless he bin has been emptied. Amazingly once the bin is emptied the files can still be found and restored. However this process requires a program design exactly for this purpose.
There are programs developed to recover deleted files on any kind of computer using any kind of operating system. Actually this is an important key when one wants to recover deleted files. A PC using Linux needs a Linux recovery program, A Mac needs Mac and Windows needs a Windows tool. There are even tools to recover deleted files from MP4 players and digital cameras. A complete explanation of how files are accidentally deleted and what you can do to recover them is available at recoverdeletedfilesblog.wordpress.com.
